1. Who we are

Certified Payroll Generator (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a browser-based tool operated by Formify Tools. It helps contractors prepare weekly payroll sheets and statements of compliance. You can reach us at noorfatima192010@gmail.com.

2. Information that stays on your device

When you use the generator, the following is saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device:

• Contractor and project information, remarks, and signer details
• Prevailing wage rates you enter
• Employee names, the last 4 digits of an SSN or ID number, withholding exemptions, work classifications, hours, pay rates, fringe amounts, and deductions
• Pro users: saved profiles, payroll history totals, and a record of your license activation

We do not receive, access, or store any of this. PDFs are created inside your browser. Backup files you export are saved on your own device, and you are responsible for keeping them safe.

The app only accepts the last 4 digits of an SSN or ID number. Please do not enter a full Social Security number anywhere in the tool. You can erase the saved form at any time with the “Clear saved data” button, or by clearing your browser’s site data. Because the data lives in your browser, it can also be lost if you clear your browser data or switch devices, so keep your own records.

3. Information we may receive

• When you buy Pro: payments, billing, and taxes are handled by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. We receive limited order information from it, such as your email address, order details, and license key. We never see your full card number.
• When you contact us: your email address and the contents of your message.

4. Third-party services used by the site

• Lemon Squeezy License API. When you activate Pro, and about once a week while Pro is active, the app sends your license key and a random device name to Lemon Squeezy to check that the license is valid. No payroll data is sent.
• Script providers. The page loads code libraries (for example Tailwind CSS and jsPDF) from content delivery networks. Like any website, those providers can see standard request information such as your IP address and browser type.
• Hosting provider. Our host may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested.

These providers have their own privacy policies.

5. Cookies and analytics

We do not set cookies, and we do not currently use advertising or analytics tools. The tool uses your browser’s local storage only to remember your work and your Pro license. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy first.

6. How we use the information we receive

We use it to provide and support Pro, answer your questions, prevent misuse of license keys, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Keeping and deleting information

Data on your device is yours to delete at any time. For information we hold, such as emails and order details, we keep it only as long as needed for support, accounting, and legal reasons. To ask us to delete it, email us.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Security

Because your payroll entries stay on your device, their security depends on your device. Please use a screen lock, avoid shared or public computers, and keep exported backups private. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

10. Children

This tool is built for business use and is not directed to anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. If we ever add features that send payroll data to our servers, such as cloud sync, we will update this policy before they launch.
