Verify Requirements. Not Legal Advice.
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Certified Payroll Generator is an independent tool. It is not legal, tax, or accounting advice, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Labor. Always verify requirements with your contracting officer, prime contractor, or agency before you submit.
Before you submit, confirm:
- That your contract, prime contractor, or agency accepts a payroll in WH-347 format, or whether it requires its own form or an online portal.
- Which version of the payroll form and statement of compliance your contract requires.
- The correct wage determination, work classifications, basic rates, and fringe benefit requirements for your project.
- How overtime must be counted on your project, including any daily overtime rules, and how cash fringes must be treated.
- Any state or local prevailing wage requirements that apply in addition to federal rules.
- Who must sign the statement of compliance, how it must be signed, and when payrolls are due.
About the results
The tool calculates from what you enter. Its checklist and prevailing wage check are aids and may not catch every problem. You are responsible for reviewing every figure and every statement before you sign or submit. A false certification can carry serious penalties.
